Enchanted Shuriken of Bloodlust
The Enchanted Shuriken of Bloodlust are a set of one hundred throwing stars. Each successful hit increases their damage against that monster species, but the stars break easily.[1]

Compounding damage
Each damaging hit increases damage against the same species by eight percent, compounding with earlier hits. Carl needs to keep landing hits to build the bonus. The stars’ fragility and the need to retrieve them make that harder.[2]

Book 1
Dungeon Crawler Carl
Carl receives one hundred stars, but practice breaks most of them. He has about twenty left before fighting the Ball of Swine. Repeated hits build their damage during the battle and help break apart the boss’s combined form.[3]
