GumGum’s Gate Pass and spying letter
Carl receives GumGum’s Gate Pass and a letter among her possessions. The pass lets him through local access checks during the investigation.[1]

What the letter does
The letter contains a Necroscript that lets its caster see and hear nearby whenever it is outside inventory. Keeping it stored cuts off that view; taking it out lets the party show the watcher what they want seen.[2]
