Platinum Sharpening Stone
A Platinum Sharpening Stone increases a weapon’s damage and improves any stat bonuses it already gives its wielder. The damage increase depends on the user’s level.[1]

Upgrade amount
The stone adds twice the user’s level as a percentage increase to damage. Each existing stat bonus also rises by one. It does not grant a bonus to a stat the weapon did not already improve. The stone expires quickly, so it needs to be used soon after it is received.[1]

The Gate of the Feral Gods
Carl gets the stone in a Platinum Quest Box and immediately uses it on his formed gauntlet. Its existing Strength and Dexterity bonuses each rise by one.[1]
