Mana Toast Media is an independent media network covering fantasy, science fiction, Romantasy, LitRPG and book adaptations.
We publish breaking news, original reporting, book reviews, reading guides, chapter-by-chapter recaps, lore explainers and coverage of the stories shaping the wider book community.
Our goal is to make book coverage informative without making it feel like homework. Some readers come to Mana Toast Media looking for the latest adaptation news. Others need a refresher before starting the next book in a series or want someone to explain an especially complicated piece of lore. We try to provide something useful for all of them.
Who Runs Mana Toast Media?
Mana Toast Media was founded by  Colin Jenkins.
Colin spent years writing, reporting and producing online content before building a network of channels focused on the fantasy and science-fiction books he was already reading and discussing. He currently serves as the senior editor of Mana Toast Media and oversees its news coverage, articles, videos, podcasts and social-media channels.
Mana Toast Media also works with additional hosts, writers and contributors who bring their own interests and areas of expertise to the network.

Koloss Learns to Read is dedicated to Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. The channel publishes lore explainers, theories, character rankings, Words of Brandon coverage and news about upcoming books and adaptations.
BookRot
BookRot is a weekly fantasy and science-fiction podcast hosted by Colin Jenkins and Emma Cohen. Each episode gives them room to review, debate, theorize and rank the books and series they have been reading.
Our Editorial Standards
Accuracy is important to us. We make every reasonable effort to verify information before publishing and link directly to primary sources whenever possible.
When another publication breaks a story, we credit and link to the original reporting. When information comes from an author, publisher, convention panel, livestream, interview or social-media post, we identify that source within the article.
We also distinguish between confirmed information, credible reporting and speculation. This is especially important when covering rumored casting, adaptations and unfinished book series.
Opinion pieces, theories and rankings represent the views of their individual authors. They are not presented as objective fact.
Corrections
If we make a factual error, we want to correct it.
Readers can report a possible mistake by emailing info@manatoastmedia.com with a link to the article and an explanation of the issue. We review correction requests and update stories when appropriate. Material corrections may include an editor’s note explaining what was changed.
