Determine Value skill potions
Determine Value skill potions let Carl compare the value of items in his inventory. Each potion raises the skill by one level. At first, it only sorts items from most to least valuable; later, it also lets him read about an object’s history.[1]

Book 1
Dungeon Crawler Carl
Carl gets his first Determine Value potion from a Gold Looter Box. After he drinks it, he can sort his inventory by value, but he cannot see how much any item is worth. Items he is wearing or carrying as equipped gear are left out of the list.
A second potion raises the skill to level two. Carl does not notice any new information or change to the inventory display at that point.
The third potion raises Determine Value to level three and adds a History tab. This lets Carl learn about an object’s past, which he uses to investigate Agatha’s shopping cart. The skill still does not show exact prices.[2]
