The makeup table projects the image of a face Katia has seen, giving her a model to copy while shapeshifting. It helps her improve a disguise rather than creating a perfect imitation for her.[1]

The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook
Katia uses two coupons to upgrade the table to level three. Her imitation of Hekla is about sixty-five percent complete at that point. Carl later suggests upgrading it further, but the discussion does not show her buying level five.[2]
