Toraline skill-transfer ink
Toraline skill-transfer ink combines Toraline with a donor’s blood to pass an ability through a tattoo. Sharing with a willing donor works differently from taking a skill against someone’s will.[1]

History
Book 7
This Inevitable Ruin
Carl trains a separate Tripper spell to level seven because he cannot simply donate the level-fifteen version from his kerchief. Katia transfers it to Imani as a level-one tattoo, costing Carl six trained levels. His levels return over four days while Imani’s use helps stabilize the tattoo. The kerchief’s spell is unaffected.[1]

Book 7
This Inevitable Ruin
Edgar later explains that Toraline shares abilities temporarily from willing donors and can take them permanently from unwilling ones. Milk’s newer temporary-transfer ink follows a different method.[2]
