Divine consumable · Introduced in Book 6
Orchid of Eileithyia’s Grace
The Orchid of Eileithyia’s Grace is a divine consumable with three possible boons, granted at the goddess’s discretion. After eating it, the user must survive an hour unconscious at one percent health without being healed.[1]

Three possible boons
One option triples the recipient’s Constitution, including future gains and bonuses, until they pass floor twelve or Eileithyia dies. Another makes them a Celestial Attendant: a temporary noncombatant NPC on floor twelve, with inventory and progression frozen until the Ascendency.
The third option causes pregnancy. Under the crawl’s child-protection rules, this disqualifies the recipient and sends them to a surface Kinder Facility. Each boon offers a different future, but the goddess controls whether it is granted.[1]

History
Book 6
The Eye of the Bedlam Bride
Katia shows Carl the orchid’s sealed box while explaining her conflict with the crown. The final seal requires an assassination. Delivering Astrid’s body fulfills the contract and opens the box. Katia waits until the ninth floor to eat it so she will not leave her squad behind.[2]

Book 7
This Inevitable Ruin
Katia eventually eats the orchid and survives the waiting hour. Before the ritual ends, Donut uses Laundry Day to separate Huanxin from Eileithyia. With Louis consenting to be the human father, Katia chooses pregnancy. She becomes human again and is removed from the crawl. Her arrival at the surface facility is not shown.[3]
