Parasite cure
Mordecai’s parasite cure removes the worms Carl deliberately lets infect him during the circus quest. It is his way out after using the infection to speak with Grimaldi and Signet.[1]

Carl uses the worms to connect with the circus’s shared voices. Wisp Armor lets him keep enough control to hold the conversation, and Mordecai prepares the cure so that he can end the infection afterward.[1]

Carl’s Doomsday Scenario
With Wisp Armor about to expire, Carl drinks the cure and vomits up the parasites. Signet enters the circus, and the quest ends without a City Boss loot reward.[1]
