Hostile vehicle · Introduced in Book 1
Goblin Murder Dozer
The Goblin Murder Dozer is a steam-powered vehicle with a spiked roller at the front. It chases Carl and Donut soon after they enter the first floor, before Carl has even opened his inventory rewards.[1]

Design and crew
The first dozer has three crew members: a level-three Goblin Engineer and two level-two goblins. It has exposed steam machinery, rails and a front roller. Its bulk makes tight corridor corners difficult, but killing a crew member does not stop the moving blades.
After Carl kills the crew, the dozer displays a twelve-second warning that its boiler is about to breach. Mordecai later suggests that a shaman’s enchantment would direct the explosion toward the nearest non-goblin.[2]

History
Book 1
Dungeon Crawler Carl
A false tutorial sign leads Carl into the passage where the dozer appears. He loses both borrowed Crocs during the chase and reaches Mordecai’s guildhall. The hostile goblins initially prevent him from entering. After he kills one and Donut slips inside, Mordecai lets him through.
Carl goes back out to stop the remaining goblins from calling for help. He climbs onto the dozer, throws one into its blades and kills the engineer with a knife taken from him. When the boiler warning appears, Carl retreats to the guildhall. Its safe-zone door holds against the explosion.[2]
