When Louis needs new organs, Samantha agrees to postpone her restoration so he can have the golem’s heart and lungs. Carl enlarges the empty body with Loita’s growth bracelet. Mordecai prepares it while Juice Box animates it with flesh-mancer magic and the healers perform the transplant.
The fae lungs need water to function. A Water Breathing scroll, water supplied through the neck gills and the correct breathing setting stabilize Louis. Mongo eats the discarded mechanical organs that contain Tagg.[2]
