GraphicAudio now lists November 20, 2026, for the first part of its full-cast Empire of Silence adaptation, with the second part due February 12, 2027.
In our September 1 report on the postponement, Ruocchio said GraphicAudio was trying new narrators after listeners criticized Hadrian Marlowe’s voice in the preview. At that point, the release was expected to move into December. GraphicAudio also told listeners on Reddit that it would adjust the production.
The new Empire of Silence GraphicAudio schedule
Part 1 is available to preorder for November 20, with an approximate running time of 12.5 hours. Part 2 is listed for February 12 and approximately 13 hours. Together, that adds up to about 25.5 hours, though both running times remain estimates.
These are two installments of the first Sun Eater novel. The February release completes Empire of Silence, so anyone waiting to listen to the whole adaptation will need to wait until then.
What the current cast listing says
The Part 1 page credits Henry W. Kramer as Hadrian, alongside Ken Jackson as Gibson, Stewart Crank as Crispin and Khaya Fraites as Cat. Scott McCormick is credited with both adapting and directing the production.
The listing does not identify which performances changed after the earlier preview.
As with GraphicAudio’s other dramatized adaptations, this version combines a full cast with music and sound effects. Both parts have separate preorder listings. Direct purchases offer listening through the GraphicAudio Access app and browser player, with MP3, M4B and FLAC downloads available as additional format options.
