Introduction
Appearance and Personality
Eva appears at level 27 with four arms and a cobra-like head, described as half Nagini and half Orc. She has thirteen player-killer skulls, far more than the single allegedly accidental death Katia knew about.
Before the collapse, Eva was a university economics professor and Hekla’s psychiatric patient.[2]
Eva openly admits using Katia to get access to Carl’s fame. She humiliates her former student while Hekla tries to silence her, exposing the intent behind an attack Hekla wants dismissed as accidental.[3]
At the masquerade, Eva is a level-55 half-nagini, half-orc Nimblefoot Enforcer. She has four arms, a snake-like head, a poisoned rapier prosthesis and four hunter-kill marks. She taunts Katia under the divine truce. During their final confrontation, she has fifty-one player-kill marks.[4]

Attributes and Abilities
Eva’s altered body and weapons make her dangerous at close range. She evades Katia’s Rush and escapes through the cab window as Hekla dies. The party system makes her the new leader, though it cannot stop members from leaving.[5]
Reports describe Eva recruiting crawlers and killing two former Daughters who confront her. She continues operating after the original group breaks apart.[6]
Eva charms a town into attacking Katia’s coalition. Imani removes the glamour after Eva has left. Eva also earns a Creeper kill and later carries a poisoned rapier at the masquerade.
Her final attack is to force the concealed Sepsis crown onto Katia before dying. Li Na blocks healing during the fight, but Eva still uses the item to leave Katia trapped in a deadly faction obligation.[7]

History
Book 3
The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook
Katia’s account and the visit
Katia describes Eva as someone from her past who joined Hekla after an allegedly accidental dismemberment death. Eva has coupons involving Carl’s party and shares the information with Hekla. When the Daughters arrive, her thirteen skulls reveal a much larger history of killing.[2]
Admission, escape and succession
After the bolts are found in Katia, Eva admits using her and attacks her personally while Hekla tries to stop her. Katia aims Rush at Eva but hits Hekla.
Eva escapes the cab and inherits leadership. Several Daughters leave anyway, including Silfa and her daughters. The recap later shows Eva abandoning Katia during her race transformation.[3]

Book 4
The Gate of the Feral Gods
Surviving and recruiting
Katia learns that Eva reached Floor Five, though they are no longer connected in chat. Reports say Eva killed two former Daughters who challenged her and is still recruiting. Katia decides to form a separate party partly to protect the survivors and pursue her.
Eva leaves the floor at level 40, ranked ninth with a 100,000-gold bounty. Katia has yet to catch her.[8]

Book 5
The Butcher’s Masquerade
A distant attack and the masquerade
A recap shows the town Eva charmed into attacking Katia’s coalition. Imani dispels the glamour, but an NPC says Eva already left. She later receives credit for a Creeper kill.
At the masquerade, Eva provokes Katia while the divine truce prevents them from fighting. The allies consider her as a secondary or sacrificial target in their plans.[9]
Death and the crown transfer
After the battle, Katia finds Eva alive beneath rubble. Li Na prevents healing while Katia kills her. Before dying, Eva forces the hidden Sepsis crown onto Katia.
The crown leaves Katia facing the same succession contest as Donut. She conceals it from Carl and Donut at the book’s end, with Eva’s last act threatening the people she hoped to protect.[10]
